Have you ever seen the artwork of Shiny Happy’s comp called Asian Pop heaven? The artwork was made by a guy named Guntur(Tores). Guntur plays in hard core bands Veisalogia and Total Struggle, he also ex member of People Shit. During the pandemic, He is spending most of the time staying in his room . Instead of writing the new songs for his hard core band he started to do a new poppy project which he plays all the instruments by himself as well as the recording process. He called this new band A Zu La which he took the name from his favorite cartoon character which is very simple and easy to remember. Inspired by indiepop/dream pop bands, A Zu La reminds us of The Radio Dept, Letting Up Despite The Great Fault or DIIV.

Slumberland is that friend who you don't see every week, and often forget to call, but when you see them, they buy you a shot of Fernet at the bar & tell you a funny story you forgot about, reminding you why you liked that person in the first place. Failed Flowers is that shot of Fernet, and that story rolled up into a night out at the bar. Punkish jangle pop with clever songwriting and a penchant for recalling every band I've ever heard on Slumberland, yet none that I can finger specifically. brantly
